The Perfect Purple. Nails inc. Victoria Gate

So after I found my Grey nail polish 'Berkeley Square', I also came across this AMAZING purple color! It is so pretty and shiny. The color itself is a creme finish which means no sparkle or shimmer to it.

It does have amazing shine without a top coat though, which to me doesn't really matter because I have to wear a base coat and top coat for the color to even stay on my nails for more than a day! but for some of you who have really strong nails you will be pleased to know that it does keep its shine throughout the week -

How Do I Know This?? I tried it out on one of my closest friends who has nails literally made of STEEL! (well not literaly but you get the picture) and she loved the color and it didn't chip or loose too much shine for more than a week! (the reason there was no top coat was she didn't have enough time to get one put on).

So getting back to the point, I love nearly all Nails Inc products

hand creams
scrubs
nail polish (formula, staying power, colors, etc)
nail files
lots of offers and deals
collections
etc

BUT they do have some down sides.

Price! Each nail polish is about £10.50 each, (about $16.94)
The website doesn't ship to outside the mainland UK and Ireland.
Postage (shipping) takes quite a long time (up to 14 days)

This is with only one coat so you can see how amazing the color pigmentation is. The color on the nails looks a little more pinky than in real life and the color in the polish bottle is very true to life.

This is with two coats and without a top coat, the color really is amazing!

The formula isn't at all 'goopy' as I like to call it and it really is a great polish!

The Great Grey Fiasco 2009/2010. Nails Inc. Berkeley Square

I have been searching and searching for the perfect grey nail color, not too light and not too dark. I didn't want any shimmer or shine, or sparkles or matteness. Thats not too much to ask? Or is it?!

Apparently it is too much, as for the whole of the autumn winter season I was looking for the perfect color, and now at the beginning of spring - I FOUND IT! Grrrrrr so irritating, and if thats not bad enough I had it the whole time in my Nails inc Autumn/Winter collection09 which I actually purchased when it first came out IN AUGUST! Well I got over the initial sense of anger at my stupidity and moved on, Who says you can't wear grey nail polish in January? not me! and technically its not even spring yet so I'm still good for a while. So here it is the BEST grey color available (and sadly I think it is a UK only company unless you don't mind getting slashed on shipping/P&P, or you buy off e-bay or something)

With some Rhinestones added to the thumbnail for some Frosting!

The color is Berkeley Square. The formula is amazing! You really could go out with only one coat although I have 2 coats on in the picture along with my base and top coat. The color in the pictures is slightly lighter than in real life and it looks amazing!

The whole collection I got for £20 ($32.29) and usually the individual nail polishes retail for about £10.50 ($16.95) which may seem really pricey but it is amazing quality, and you really do get what you pay for...

For example, OPI nail polish I can usually get to last for about 2-3 days without chipping, with Nails inc, its about 4-6 days. Which I am telling you is a MIRACLE! Nail polish does not stay long on my flaky, bendy, damaged nails!

To end this post on a happier note than my annoying nails, I believe that the Autumn/Winter 09 collection is still available but you have to get it quickly before its gone!

Nails...

So I've been trying to get my nails to grow really strong and healthy, because usually they just peel and crack and just don't grow long. So at the moment I am doing a few things and I would just like to tell you all about it so it might help you too if you have the same problems!

SO.

First of all EVERY day I am taking Biotin which is necessary for cell growth, the production of fatty acids, and the metabolism of fats and amino acids. Biotin is also helpful in maintaining a steady blood sugar level. Biotin is often recommended for strengthening hair and nails. Consequently, it is found in many cosmetic and health products for the hair and skin.

Then on top of that I wash and moisturize my hands like ALL the time, not OCD but still especially as its cold and flu season you need to keep your hands clean and moisturized to make them stronger for my hand moisturizer I use Nails inc London 'Bond Street Mexican lime foot cream' which in my opinion smells too nice to go on your feet! (smells like lime Skittles or Starburst)

I also soak my hands in warm olive oil or my Elemis 'Exotic Frangipani Monoi' moisture melt. Which smells DIVINE! and makes your hands feel amazing!

I always have a coat of nailpolish on even if its only clear I use eather my Jessica critical care for soft nails, Sally Hansen 'Diamond strength, Hard as nails, or Hard as wraps'.

My nail polish rouitine is as follows, I coat base- Orly Bonder, 2 coat nail color- (whatever i feel like), and 1 coat top coat- Seche Vite, OPI Nail envy matte, or Orly Glosser, Then OPI drip dry drops. Always leaving enough time for each layer to dry.

Drink pleanty of water at the moment I drink at least 1.5L a day, most of the time nearly 3L.

When doing jobs that require you to have your hands in water (such as washing up or cleaning) wear gloves to protect your hands.

Finally my grandma used to tell me to imagine you have diamonds on the ends of your fingers- which means treat your nails as if they are diamonds!!!!

New Background / Image thingy

This is my new Image that I will have on EVERY video I post If this is not on there or BimboBarker08 along the bottom - ITS NOT ME!

Well aside from that I would just like to say a HUGE thank you to all my subscribers on youtube and also to my followers on my blog, I at the moment am strongly against getting a twitter account but that may change in the future.

I have noticed that I am not getting as many Subscribers, Followers and stuff like that as I used to and sort of hoped for. I am completely open to requests, and anything you would like to say! Other than that I don't really know how to improve, If you have any suggestions please comment on this post or go to my youtube account and comment/message me.

Youtube Makeup Guru Series - Tiffany [AKA MakeupByTiffanyD] Glowing Purple- MAC

My next few looks are going to be recreations or inspired from my favorite youtube gurus.

My look is different to Tiffany's (MakeupByTiffanyD) it is inspired by not a recreation. I am not saying that we look ANYTHING alike, we have completely different features, eyeshapes, complexions and skin colours!

MY IDEA TO RECREATE / GET INSPIRATION FROM MY FAVORITE YOUTUBE GURU'S VIDEOS CAME TO ME WHEN I WATCHED ELLE'S (ALLTHATGLITTERS21) VIDEO ON HER AUTUMN LOOK, I HAD MOST OF THE COLORS SHE USED AND I THOUGHT I WOULD TRY IT. THEN I GOT THE IDEA OF SHOWING OTHER LOOKS I LIKED AND GURU'S I LOVE TO WATCH.

James Molloy Mac seminar

Hey everyone!
So I went to the Mac James Molloy seminar at The TC and it was an amazing event! He showed 2 looks for us, one more dramatic than the other.
We also all got goodie bags with a mac binder pad, pencil and look cards, and wish lists.
After the event we went back to the mac counter and got to redeem the £25 tickets for makeup! I know it was so worth it! I also spent a little bit more =S (I feel a bit guilty because I feel like all I've been doing lately is buying things!) ,
I bought:

Mineralize skin finish natural Medium
Eyebrow pencil Fling

Not as much as I wanted to spend, I restrained myself!

We also got a preview of the new collection that came out on the 3rd September, and I have to say I loved it!

All in all I would have to say it was an amazing evening. The only bad part was the traffic on the way there! The roads were ALL jam packed it took me 2hours to do a journey that usually takes me 20 - 30minutes!!!
